Tobago has long been known for its mesmerizing blue beaches, coral reefs, wildlife, plant life and food. But the one thing that’s making it even more popular as a vacation spot is the variety of water sports and beach activities it offers. Here is a list of some of the most popular ‘things to do’ while in Tobago-

Water sports:

Every kind of water sport you can think of is found here, including water skiing and jet skis. Voyages in glass-bottomed boats are extremely popular. Some beautiful reefs also entice professional divers to come take a dive.

Fishing:

People with all sorts of fishing tastes (from shore to deep sea) come here. Some of the fishes caught comprise of, Spanish mackerel, Kingfish, wahoo, dolphin fish, bonito, and yellow tuna.

Sailing:

Sailing is one of the highlights of Tobago. Travelling the length of the coast with the wind in your face is very exciting. Normally, food is provided on board and there is plenty of opportunity for snorkeling and skippering.

Cricket:

There is nothing more that Tobagonians love than an afternoon of cricket. As with all the other islands in the Caribbean, this island has some of the most talented cricketers who do not mind sharing their bats with the onlookers.

Golf:

Tobago is home to two championship eighteen-hole courses. These courses cater to the more professional golfers and holidaymakers who take golf seriously.

Whether it’s sailing, water sports, limbo dancing, yachting, or fishing, Tobago has it all. However, the best way to enjoy this Island is to stay at a place which is centrally located and closer to all the activity spots. Bacolet Beach Club is exactly that. This boutique hotel is located just minutes from the capital Scarborough and is only ten minutes away from the golf courses. Moreover, the reception arranges everything for the guests who feel like taking diving lessons or going snorkeling.
